"NO 😂 TIPS"

Life after retirement, that too with no pension, is much different. One mainly goes for "money saved is money earned" mode. Follows little amusing story going same way.

On my retirement farewell, the boss, in his speech, advised to give the steering now to the kids and take the back seat. Truly, since then, I didn't even drive my car. Years passed by and I lost my driving confidence too. Yesterday, my daughter had to come from Bangkok along with her kid. Going to and from Terminal-3, I arranged a driver at 300 for 3-hour. He, further, asked for 100 more as conveyance for coming to my home. This was the time when my mind shifted to "saving v/s earning" gear, besides, I desperately wanted driving home with my daughter and daughter's daughter. I was quite happy in saving (means earning) 400 also. Alas! this was a momentary happiness when, soon, my daughter narrated her story how someone cheated her of 500 at the airport in the name of assistance.

She arrived on AI 333/26 May from Bangkok to Delhi at 11:30 hours. As she was with small kid and 2/3 bags, someone offered help while collecting the baggage from conveyer belt in the arrival hall at Terminal -3 @ Rs500. The guy was in orange jacket displaying "No Tips" on both sides -- front and back!
