After Cancun, Mexico, my little Prisha sent me some pics of Chichen Itza -- Pre-Hispanic (Pre-Columbian) city, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the region of Latin America and the Caribbean ..was built by Mayan people of the Terminal classic period. El-Castillo dominates the center of the archaeological site, most visited in Mexico. It's arid, does not have any streams, and the rivers all run underground. The Cenotes were used as source of water. Going through the history, one may recall our ancient civilization Mohenjo-Daro. The idea of Vedic civilization having links with American counterparts -- Mayan & Aztec was, of course, never ruled out commpletely though we are miles apart geographically!
